9th End Cafe is a cafe tucked inside the Chilliwack Curling Club, making it a quiet spot that feels a bit set apart from the usual downtown buzz. It's a place where the crowd tends to skew older, drawn from the curling community and locals who appreciate a low-noise environment. This means you can expect a calm, no-fuss atmosphere that's well suited for a relaxed breakfast or lunch away from the rush.

The food leans toward hearty, comfort-style fare—think generous sandwiches like the Reuben or deluxe beef dip, alongside breakfast staples such as the Hog Line Breakfast. The portions are generous and priced reasonably, which draws in people looking for a filling meal without frills. Side options like crispy fries and cactus-cut potatoes add a touch of texture and local character to the meals.

Coffee here holds its own, complementing the food without overshadowing it. The service is straightforward and efficient, keeping the vibe casual. It's an easy spot for those who want a solid breakfast or lunch in a peaceful environment where you won’t be competing for table space or waiting too long for your meal.

Since the cafe operates within a curling club, it's not your typical hangout with outdoor seating or bustling coffee shop chatter. Instead, it works well for locals who value a predictable, laid-back experience—ideal for weekday mornings or quieter afternoons. Visitors should be aware it is cash only, but an ATM is available on site, so it’s best to come prepared.

Overall, 9th End Cafe suits diners who enjoy straightforward, home-style meals in a calm setting with minimal distractions. It’s a practical choice for curling club visitors, seniors, or anyone traveling through Spadina Avenue who wants a filling plate and decent coffee without the noise of a typical cafe.

This is not your typical high street cafe as it is inside Chilliwack Curling Club. Food and service are good, the clientele are of a certain demographic so your guaranteed piece and low ambient noise. Would definitely go again when I am in the area.

Found this restaurant in Google and it’s really good. Food tastes good, fries are crispy. Big portion and very reasonable price.

Our new favourite breakfast spot in Chilliwack. Prices are very reasonable, food was delicious. Home style hashbrowns were great! Wasn’t very busy when we went. CASH ONLY something to note, they do have an atm on site. Didn’t notice the fee I’d there was one as I had cash on me that day surprisingly (I never carry cash usually ) Delicious, we will be back.

Super cute little breakfast place, full of old people, definitely their main clientele. The service and food come fast enough, the food itself is decent, everyone enjoyed their meal except for the clam chowder. The club sandwich is a true club with three pieces of bread, and thick cut turkey.

Edit#1 the tables are indoors now. I went for lunch with some friends and it was awesome. It just might be the best beef dip sandwich in Chilliwack. I will definitely be back. The prices are good and the guy was really nice. They have tables outdoors so you can dine there. The only complaint that I had was the dip could have a little salt in it. It is not a deal breaker though. Obviously salt can be a preference for some and not for others.
